1. Instead of sending data files to a directly connected tape drive, A-Safe sends its data over your existing internet connection to an offsite storage server. It usually does this at night while your practice is closed.
2. Your data is securely encrypted (Using 256 Bit AES Encryption*) before being backed up. Absolutely no one can view your data once it leaves your PC (not even us!). Our encryption technology greatly enhances security and is of particular importance to health care professionals - who must comply with HIPAA regulations.
